BB Resources & Development Consulting (BRDC) SARL specializes in advisory services to the private sector and the public sectors, civil society and NGOs as well as international, regional, bilateral and national agencies that are involved or wishing to invest in the extractive industry.
Various expertise is available to BRDC customers to help improve understanding of the host country’s investment climate, the tripartite rapport between companies, Government and populations, good governance in extractives, the legal and institutional framework, the operational set-up, and matters related to contractual arrangements, environmental stewardship, employment of nationals, technology transfer and know-how and sustainable development.
The company also intervenes in market development and marketing of EI products.
Mission & Vision
BDRC help provide technical assistance (TA) and know-how to facilitate mobilizing key resources and to help establish credible as well as partnerships at each stakeholder’s level, that sustains overtime. Throughout, BRDC seeks to achieve various purposes including :
- to improve investment levels;
- to promote sustainable development through the EI sector,
- to foster investor’s corporate social responsibility (CSR),
- to accelerate environmental stewardship and the application of sustainable environmental and acceptable social standards,
- to facilitate gender promotion in the EI sector, and
- to assist in the organization of artisanal mining.

OUR ACTIVITES
Advisory services to the private and/or public sector, civil society, international, regional and bilateral institutions that are involved in the mining and oil sector. Various skills and specialties in the extractive industry in line with the proliferous cross-cutting themes associated with the extractive industry.
Technical assistance and know-how to facilitate mobilizing key resources and to help establish credible partnerships at each stakeholder’s level, that sustain overtime. BRDC seeks to achieve various purposes including:- to improve investment levels;
- to promote sustainable development through the EI sector,
- to foster investor’s corporate social responsibility (CSR),
- to accelerate environmental stewardship, the application of sustainable environmental and acceptable social standards, and
- to facilitate gender promotion in the EI sector.
Catalyst and facilitator for the granting of mining titles and exploration rights, the restructuring and/or structuring of new ventures, the marketing of goods and products derived from the oil and mining industry, and improvement in the functioning of and other issues related to the artisanal mining sector.
Improving the benefits to the nation, to the investors and to the rural communities from the mining and/or oil activity (whether through local content, sizeable Corporate social responsibility, etc.). At the donor community level, the company intervenes in EI projects, related initiatives and capacity building which are financed through multilateral, regional and bilateral agencies.
