Provision of advisory services to the private and/or public sector, civil society, international, regional and bilateral institutions that are involved in the mining and oil sector.

Provision of various skills and specialties in the extractive industry in line with the numerous cross-cutting themes associated with the extractive industry.

RESOURCES IDENTIFICATION

Provision of technical assistance and know-how to facilitate mobilizing key resources and to help establish credible partnerships at each stakeholder’s level, that sustain overtime. Throughout its interventions, BRDC seeks to achieve various purposes including :

• to improve investment levels;
• to promote sustainable development through the EI sector;
• to foster investor’s corporate social responsibility (CSR);
• to accelerate environmental stewardship and the application of sustainable environmental and acceptable social standards; and
• to facilitate gender promotion in the EI sector.

INVESTMENT, PARTNERSHIP & MARKETS

BRDC intervenes to facilitate the granting of mining titles and exploration rights, in restructuring and/or structuring of new ventures, in marketing of goods and products derived from the oil and mining industry, and in improving the functioning of and other issues related to the artisanal mining sector.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY

Skills are available to help improve benefits to the nation, to the investors and to the rural communities accrued from the mining and/or oil activity (through local content, sustainable CSR, etc.).

With the donor community, the company intervenes in EI projects, related initiatives and capacity building which are financed through multilateral, regional and bilateral agencies.
